Yes, it's just the hair that makes her look so different. I wish the two prominent parents (Jack, Allison) could be better at parenting. They both stammer and hesitate and keep on trying to win favor with their offspring. Jack wised up before the end of the episode and returned to the calm, sensible Jack he normally is, and Allison may have learned her lesson too. However, I can't buy her cheating to let Kevin win the rocket race. That just seemed so out of character. But I loved the invisible cat.

I watched it; I've grown quite fond of this show -- it's just so much fun. Credible characters constantly involved in incredible situations. IMO, Eureka is the most imaginative show on TV. And I always get a kick out of the little "in" references, such as Dr. Grant's referring to a former girl friend as "a tall, leggy blond in a slinky red dress."

Or Alison's line, "Stay away from him, you bitch!"

Or Sheriff Andy, the robot cop with the Mayberry view of life. Yep, I like this show a lot too. What I hate is the ridiculously long hiatus between seasons.

What the hell were Alex and his droogs doing in Caprica?

Ha! Chris, I thought the same thing. I imagine they were there mostly for decoration; they weren't on the screen for long, just as part of the arty look the episode took on. The producers are paying a lot of attention to the appearance of the show, and so far that's been working quite well. Same characters, though, and same plot. Esai Morales is being underused.

I was halfway hoping they'd forget about Caprica. The droogs were a nice touch, but there's still something missing. This show just doesn't do it for me.
