Miss Saigon

Miss Saigon is the 11th longest-running musical on Broadway. It and the 9th longest-running musical are both based (very loosely) on plots used by the same opera composer. What's the 9th and who's the composer?

Rent and Puccini.

Ray Milland's stand-in also acted in a number of movies himself. In a 1950s movie, he got to say a line of dialogue that became one of the most quoted movie lines of all times. Who was he and what was the line?

Douglas Spencer in The Thing from Another World, and the line was "Watch the skies everywhere! Keep looking! Keep watching the skies!"

Another member of the cast of The Thing went on to star in a 50s TV series about a helicopter charter service. Who and what show?

Drew Barrymore, at 7 years 271 days (and that was a slam dunk, as the next youngest was over 11 at tht time).

The oldest SNL host is still active (Betty White)--but who was the oldest musical guest?

The Creature from the Black Lagoon, of all things.

The current issue of the Smithsonian has an article about Al Pacino that says he didn't want to play Michael in The Godfather; he wanted to play a different role in the movie. Anybody know what role that was?
