Yeah, it's bloody all right. I had to go alone because my wife gets squeamish at Tarantino movies. But I liked it. Tarantino is the only director who can make you laugh out loud while saying "Ewww!" at the same time.
Russell did ham it up in the early part of the movie, in the stagecoach scenes. But by the time they were all at the way station, he blended into the ensemble OK. There was one other performance, though, a small part that was so over the top it stood out like a sore thumb. A blond woman called Six-Horse Judy, bouncing around, talking like Pollyanna, waving her arms. She's killed off almost immediately after she's introduced ... a VERY small part.
