Anticipating more snow, I stopped off at the library this afternoon to pick up something to read.....never got past the "P" section of the mystery shelves....in addition to several by someone we all know around here I picked up a couple of Ellis Peters' pre-Cadfael books. I read one a while back and found it quite good.
But I will probably read one of the opera mysteries first....what with a lot of my time lately having been taken up with the newly formed Friends of Opera Broadcasts (in the Roanoke Valley).
Now, here's a plot for you.....a very churlist station manager at a public radio station decides to cancel the weekly Met broadcasts.
He reasoning: only 400 people in the area listen to opera.
When he turns up dead, the police have at least 400 suspects......
